The search for the perfect coat continued year after year while I continued to freeze to death. This year being significantly colder than the last couple, I decided I needed to invest in a nice coat. This would mean spending $50.00 maybe even... *GASP* $80.00... this troubled me. But I've been saving for a while and decided I'd hit up one of my all time favorite stores: Maurice's.
Maurice's = Twue Wove.
I walked into the store and looked around. Nothing caught my eye... yet... Suddenly I spotted my favorite Jeans. This was also the reason I came to this store. It is the only place I can find jeans. $30.00 was going to be spent on a pair of desperately needed-well deserved-perfect fitting jeans. $50.00 to be the budget for the coat.
There it was. Not too puffy, not too much fur... thick enough to be warm... and a lovely shade of brown. ;)

I tried it on. Perfect. Next step. Price tag. $80.00. It looks like my perfect jeans will have to wait.
I take my coat up to the register and the lady says to me:
"It looks like your coat rang up for $40.00 today!"
Seriously? Hello new jeans.
Jeans = $30.00
"Oh well look at that, these jeans ran up for $19.99!"
Well... as long as $80.00 is my budget...
"I'll take this as well!"
Cute Winter White Crocheted Hat = $16.00. I'll splurge! ;)
Nice cashier lady: "Now you qualify to get an item worth $25.00 for free. :D Keep shopping."
As I look around I figure, I'll get something that will make the most out of my purchase. I pick a $24.00 handbag that is... too cute for words. Brown, blue, and orange plaid.
Nice cashier lady a.k.a. tempter of shoppers: "Well.. this purse only rang up for $8.00... would you like to pick something else?"
Don't mind if I do...
How bought this matching scarf and slippers? Together they equal 25.00...
"Your total is... "
New coat = $40.00
Perfect jeans = $20.00
Hat = $16.00
Purse = $8.00
Scarf = $14.00
Slippers = $11.00
Buying a new winter wardrobe that makes you scream for joy for under $100.00?... ... ... = Priceless.
Mission Accomplished.

That is rad. No other words can describe it. :) I need a special day like that too...Haha.
