Zombie Prom

I have to say that getting everything ready for this party was much more fun than the party itself. Don't get me wrong, it was a wonderful party! But I put so much anticipation and excitement into helping everything get ready that I was exhausted by the time the party started!! The night ended in me passed out sleeping on the hard (and COLD) wood floor while everyone else watched a movie! Ha ha I also think that Me, Stasia, Shelby, Gerin, and a few others were the only ones that danced!! Lol But it was a blast!! We had a limbo contest, and Shelby's Dad let us borrow all of his decorations so it was so beautiful! We had a neat-o bubble/fog machine and so much food it was crazy!!! Luckily everyone came dressed up and there wasn't ever too many people. Lots of people came and left but the whole night there was about 30 people always there! Our cute Branch President and his wife stopped by and they loved seeing us all in costume! Overall, it was a way fun Halloween Night!! Everyone stayed to help clean up too and that was awesome!!!! Shelby was a Dead Ballerina and Stasia was a Dead Housewife. I was supposed to be a dead prom queen, but I ended up looking like a back up dancer for KISS. Lol And at some points of the night also looked like the Corpse Bride. My make-up started out black and white and then faded to blue and gray. It was fun though! My Mom helped with the dress. I went to the DI and bought a choir dress that was floor length. Then my mom just went to work tearing it up and whatnot. Then I bought some fabric from Wal-mart and my mom sewed it to some old shorts I have and then stapled it in the ruffles that you see. It was incredibly brilliant!!! It turned out great!! The costume was made complete with the holy tights and snow boots. Loved it!! :)
