New Plan

**Attention Grandparents, friends, and family alike!! :) **

Well... It seems there's no better way to inform everyone of the new direction my life is taking then on my blog.

The plan used to be that I was going to go to BYU-Idaho in January attending on the Winter-Spring Track and getting my generals done. I was supposed to be getting a full-time job in the mean-time so that I could pay for this.

After much consideration, and serious prayer, my plans have changed.

No full-time job has opened up, and it seems that I won't have sufficient funds to make it. To be honest, the only reason I was going to BYU-I was because I thought it was the one school I could afford.

When it came down to it, I knew in my heart and in my mind that it never truly felt right.

Which leads me to the decision that I feel has lifted stress off my shoulders and given me a new enthusiasm for the direction my life is leading me.

I have decided to attend the DATC (Davis Applied Technology College) to certify in Phlebotomy. The course is only 4 months long at $135 a month. This will serve as a temporary full-time position and a wonderful skill to fall back on when I do go to school. Which will be next fall in 2010 to Utah State University to study Music Therapy. I can work as a phlebotomist to get me through school, and save up money until next year.

My mind finally fills clear of frustration and confusion and it seems as if there is no longer a burden on my shoulders. Considering those circumstances, I hope that those of you that this effects (Anastasia :D ) will understand why the decision has been changed and know that you were not forgotten during this process.

Many thanks to my supportive parents who helped me to realize what I wanted, and gave me the opportunity to pursue it. Love!!!!

  2. Alyssa I totally support your decision. I'm not gonna lie, I am disappointed that we're not gonna live together anymore. But I truly believe that God has a plan and a path for each of us and I guess that means we aren't going to be partying it up at BYU-I anymore! lol! Who knows... maybe I wont even make it up there. I still have 5 whole freakin months. Anything can happen in 5 months!

You do realize that this means next year we will be up at USU together if everything goes according to your plan. :) Hehe!

Love you Lyss. I have confidence in you!
